World War II

W.R. Hutsell’s World War II in Western Europe is a classic strategic-level wargame simulation of the Second World War. It is currently available for free download with the blessings of Mr. W.R. Hutsell. This game was written for MS-DOS, a predecessor to Microsoft Windows, as such, it takes a few moments of time to configure the application to run correctly.

I am looking for the instructions for your WWII game. Can’t seem to find them at your web site or when I play the game.
    Thanks

Hopefully the quirks will eventually be worked out. Combat often seems random-nothing like 10,000 defeating 100,000 despite the odds strongly disfavoring it, or 1 plane (I know it represents a squadron) being able to pin a 250,000 man army. The tech advances also seem strange-I spent one game from 1942 until 1946 waiting to develop invasion technology. Meanwhile the computer had learned it in 1943 and was constantly attempting to invade. Eventually I gave up on unreliable tech advances and just recruited troops-at least I knew I was getting something.
